Henning Group's Battlehook® Sight is a high performance, competition grade, multipurpose sight designed and manufactured in the USA by competition shooter Henning Wallgren. This sight is innovatively designed with a 10° forward angle for one-handed slide racking for quick reaction shooting capabilities.
Quick Target Acquisition
Henning's Battlehook® rear sight design extends and elongates the blade over the back of the slide for a longer sight radius and a larger sight reference for more precise shooting. 40 LPI low glare serrations further enhance your visibility and accuracy at the range, in competition, and in the field.
Using the highest quality materials, the Battlehook® is composed of 4140 high tensile steel with Black Nitride finishing for durability, and #6-32 robust set screws.
Black Nitride Finish
Black Nitride is a steel surface treatment with a salt bath nitride QPQ process. This surface treatment renders the Battlehook® corrosion resistant and wear resistant, hardens and heat treats the steel for a low coefficient of friction and high fatigue strength, and gives a deep black aesthetically appealing finish.
Fiber Optic Front Sights
Our most popular Battlehook® combination is a Black Rear Sight with a Fiber Front Sight. The 1 mm diameter green fiber can be replaced or changed to a red fiber as needed, or customized by melting the ends of the fiber into a small or large dot. For color-blindness, the green fiber is best.
Tritium Night Sights
The Battlehook® Night Sights are ready 24 hours a day, and give you the ability to see your sights in daytime or at night. The night sights are made with tiny capsule inserts containing tritium gas, a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. The capsule is coated with a phosphorous material, which reacts with the radioactive electrons being given off by the tritium.
Tritium sight capsules have a half-life of 12 years, meaning you can expect your sights to gradually dim. When that happens, the capsule replacements are covered with our Battlehook® lifetime warranty.
